Bulk Sample - Custom Lab

1st Steep

This photograph shows an 8 kilograms bulk sample during the first water stage of steeping. Our steeps are not circulated, but because the tanks each have their own water jacket around them good temperature control is achieved during steeping. Because our machines are pneumatic steep aeration during the water phases is possible if so desired.

Day 4

By day 4, germination is almost complete. Turning the bed manually on a bulk sample ensures that there is good airflow through the bed (not around it) and the deep nature of our tanks ensures good temperature control.

This photograph shows the bulk sample holders for the kilns. A bed depth of around 700mm is possible with this bulk sample holder.
